Resource Links

There are a lot of resources available to assist those wanting more information on what they can do to improve their landscape and care for what they already have in place.  Here are a few examples of resources available to clients in our region of the country.

Master Gardner websites of Hamilton and Hendricks counties provide a wealth of information and links to some really great resources for avid gardeners and those wanting help in planning, planting and caring for their landscape.

The Indiana Master Gardeners Program is a volunteer training program which provides an intensive education in Horticulture to those with an interest in gardening. 

Indiana Native Plant and Wildlife Society...for more information planting with native plants.

Purdue University Consumer Horticulture...website of the Dept. of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. For another excellent site for tips, check out Purdue Extension Garden Tips.

Gardening Resources of the Marion County Library for a quick guide containing links to selected websites, library materials, organization links, frequently asked questions for gardening in Indiana, and other related links.

Indiana Department of Natural Resources with information on insects and their effects on Indiana plants at the Division of Entomology and Plant Pathology, forests of Indiana at the Division of Forestry, information about our Indiana's natural resources at the Division of Nature Preserves and general plant information and other links you can explore on the left side of their website. 

Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association to locate landscape installers in your area.  For those in other areas of the Midwest you might check out the American Nursery and Landscape Association.

GardenNet...a gardeners information center with an excellent Q&A section all type of questions.

GardeningPlaces... A directory of websites of interest to avid gardener and landscape enthusiast.

House & Garage Plans...a one-stop resource for home and garage plans, and more.  Over 2200 house plans and over 70 garage plans from which to choose a plan to meet your needs.
