Living Landscapes was formed in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 15, 1989, and is certified as a Woman Business Enterprise with the State of Indiana and with the City of Indianapolis.

Our growing list of residential clients include  . . . 

1. New home owners who need help in placing the home, driveway and walkways, as well as initial landscape design. 
2. Existing home owners wanting to enhance their current foundation and patio/deck areas. 
3. Home owners needing professional assistance for large scale projects with amenities such as swimming pools and gazebos, ponds and waterfalls, multilevel decks with raised planting beds, special landscaping needs for lakefront properties, etc.

Our growing list of commercial clients include . . .

1. Industrial facilities, business parks, shopping areas, and office buildings such as banks, insurance companies, and day care facilities with playgrounds.
2. Residential subdivisions,  condominiums, and retirement communities.
3. Interstate rest areas, rails to trails projects, state park nature centers, town plazas, town halls, police stations, fire houses, court houses, judicial centers, youth centers, detention facilities, and municipal utilities (water, sewage, gas).

Owner/Landscape Architect

The owner and founder of Living Landscapes is Loretta Sawaski. 

Loretta is a native Hoosier, a graduate of Ball State University's prestigious Architectural School, and an enthusiastic proponent for creating beautiful and lasting landscapes for both residential home owners and commercial enterprises.  

After graduation she moved to the east coast and became a registered landscape architect in the State of North Carolina.  

In May, 1989, Loretta moved back to Indianapolis and founded Living Landscapes to continue her love of the great outdoors and her passion for creating exciting outdoor living spaces.
