Trends in the Industry

There are several trends in the industry that I especially like and pass along for your consideration:  

Attracting wildlife such as deer, birds, butterflies, and even bats, is now in demand!

Multi-level decks (with or without built-in hot tubs) and backyard ponds with waterfalls are also very popular.  I just designed a couple of ponds with waterfalls for two State Parks; Mounds in Anderson, Indiana and Salamonie in Northern Indiana.  

Also, in vogue, is the art and science of Landscaping with Natives, using plant materials indigenous to the region.   Although this is certainly a growing trend, my repertoire still includes European/Asian Design which incorporates plant material that originated from Europe or Asia.
